THALASSAEMIC’S DIARY
Most Thalassaemics do not visit one single facility for treatment all their lives. It was witnessed that when Thalassaemics switch treatment centers due to travel or other reasons, the attending physician(s) often find it difficult to gather history of the patient effectively. Infections such as Hepatitis and past medical complications such as averse reactions to certain drugs are often not communicated.
To Address these difficulties, Thalassaemia Federation of Pakistan has published the Thalassaemic’s Diary to keep a comprehensive record of all the facets of Treatment of Thalassaemia
